It’s the ziracote timer with its dark honey colour that underlines the beauty of this GKC-100 Concert Ukulele from Smiger.
For the uninitiated, ziracote is an exotic wood with a unique appearance. That is it say, it has dramatic grain patterns. As a result, the term ‘spider-webbing’ is sometimes used to describe the pattern qualities of ziracote. In addition, the texture is fine, and it has a natural lustre.
Further features include an ornate sound-hole with mother-of-pearl inlay, and black and white binding. The instrument has an arched back, jet black Gotoh-style machine heads, and a decorated bridge.
